The first SIG Areal Fest took place on Saturday, 14 September 2024, in a festive and exuberant atmosphere. Right on time at 11 a.m., the rain stopped and the festival was opened with an exciting panel discussion.

Throughout the event, around 4,500 visitors enjoyed an interesting and varied programme of events with countless highlights and attractions. As part of the ‘Community at the Rhine Falls’ initiative, thirteen local companies presented their offerings and invited visitors to take exciting tours of their business premises. In addition to many other activities, guests were able to program robots at the go tec! laboratory, unleash their creativity in Triangolo’s creative studio, or take part in an inspiring workshop run by Mobiliar at the SKILL HUB at the Rhine Falls.
A variety of food trucks around Heinrich Moser Square treated guests to international and regional specialities.

The children were able to let off steam in the large children’s paradise with outdoor mini golf, face painting and mini scooters. The large stage hosted an entertaining programme throughout the event. In addition to musical entertainment from first-class live bands and solo artists, local dance groups and the circus school ‘et voilà’ presented impressive shows.

The Schaffhausen band ‘The Gardener & The Tree’ provided a grand finale, captivating the audience with their atmospheric and moving music. It was the perfect end to the first ‘SIG Areal Fest’.
