The traditional start of Advent and the popular Advent market in Neuhauser Zentrum will see a special change this year. On Saturday, 30 November 2024, from 3 p.m., this atmospheric start to the pre-Christmas season will take place for the first time at the SIG Areal am Rheinfall.
Look forward to an inviting Christmas market with a variety of culinary delicacies. A decorated mulled wine hut will serve you hot drinks, while festive performances and attractions contribute to a unique atmosphere. A magical barrel organ concert, enchanting melodies from the Schaffhausen children’s choir ‘Crazy Kids’ and a spectacular performance by the circus school ‘et voilà’ from Neuhausen add to the special charm of the evening.

On Friday, 6 December at 5 p.m., it’s that time of year again. St. Nicholas will visit the SIG Areal am Rheinfall with Schmutzli and Eseli. He will bring generously filled St. Nicholas bags, which he will give to the eagerly awaiting children. Punch, mulled wine and hearty refreshments will also be on offer. During Advent, Heinrich Moser Square is transformed into a magical setting. Fairy lights and festive Christmas decorations promise a contemplative time.
