Since the beginning of the year, Migros has been operating the Grünerbaum restaurant on the SIG Areal am Rheinfall. For restaurant manager Manuela Gligoroski, the opening meant a return to Neuhausen. She joined Migros nine years ago as an employee of the former Migros restaurant in Neuhausen. When the restaurant closed in 2019, she moved to the Migros restaurant at Herblinger Markt. Now the cheerful restaurateur is back in her hometown and reveals: “We’ve got off to a good start!”

Manuela Gligoroski continues: “The restaurant not only attracts business people from the surrounding companies, but also draws more and more tourists to the modern premises on the SIG Areal near the Rhine Falls. Many regulars often bring new visitors with them, and apprentices who eat lunch here during the week come back with their friends on the weekend. That’s fantastic feedback for us!”

The managing director also provides insights into many exciting innovations that will be implemented in the coming weeks and months: “We are planning sumptuous Sunday brunches, weekly ladies’ cocktail evenings, and soon there will also be the ”Grüens Bäumli” cocktail, created especially for the Grünerbaum restaurant. The spacious outdoor terrace will be decorated with lots of pretty plants, among other things, making it an even more cozy place to linger.”
