On Saturday, 5 September 2026, the SIG Areal at the Rhine Falls will once again be transformed into a lively meeting place for young and old alike from 11.00 to 23.00. Situated directly above the Rhine Falls, the ‘SIG Areal Fest’ invites visitors to enjoy a varied day full of entertainment, socialising and culinary delights. Entry is free for all visitors.
Guests can look forward to a diverse range of street food featuring specialities from different countries, whilst live bands and dance groups create a festival atmosphere.
As a major business hub with numerous companies based here, the festival – under the motto ‘Community at the Rhine Falls’ – offers the chance to get to know various firms better and learn more about their day-to-day work. Exciting guided tours of selected companies and areas of the SIG Areal at the Rhine Falls also provide special behind-the-scenes insights.
The hands-on activities are suitable for the whole family. Young guests can also look forward to a colourful children’s paradise with plenty of games and activities.
